SAP Portal Developer

Our client is a global provider of relocation and assignment management programs to the worldwide corporate community. We are recruiting the following role at our Mississauga location.
 
As part of a team of IT professionals, you will be involved in new project development, troubleshooting complex programs and performance tuning to meet business process requirements.  You will be responsible for maintaining our client facing portal. 
As the successful candidate you will have 3+ years of SAP Portal Installation, configuration, administration, development, testing, trouble shooting experience (NW Developer Studio, PDK, WebDynpro for Java or BSP).  3+ years of Java and Web development experience (Java/J2EE/JavaScript/HTML/XML).  At least 2-3 full lifecycle implementations. Experience with SAP portal display editing (themes, frameworks and desktops).  Experience building standard portal content (iViews, pages, worksets, roles). You will also have the ability to research and prototype new features and functionality within SAP Portal. Experience implementing portal business packages (e.g., ESS, MSS or Procurement/CRM ) is essential as well as knowledge of Windows & Web services.  Experience with SAP CRM, R/3, ABAP and ABAP Web Dynpro & workflow as well as experience with .net technology will be plus.

You will also have proven analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong customer focus.  Demonstrated ability in project planning and execution.  The ability to deal with ambiguity, embrace change and work within a dynamic environment. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills to communicate with IT professionals, and management.

The ability to deal with a large number of high-priority projects.  Develop and document programming specifications from business requirements in coordination with senior management.   A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent
