Production Team Leader-Automation COMPANY PROFILE: Our client is excited to expand their Automation Solution Division in Mississauga with a Production Team Leader.

RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to: - To report directly to the Automation Solutions Engineering Manager and communicate all relevant matters pertaining to assembly and integration of Automation Systems. - Assembly of Robotic, Hard Automation and Environmental systems to ensure that all assemblies of systems meet customer requirements and system specifications. - Schedules daily work assignments of production team in a timely, efficient and safe manner ensuring completion of projects based on provided schedules. - To provide trouble shooting, repair and technical support services as required. - Provide guideline and technical support to production team and other technical staff (both in house and at the customer locations) - Ensure each system/project is completed with zero quality defects and/or warranty issues. - Maintaining a safe and organized work area. - To continually contribute to the profitability of the company and ongoing business operations by initiating, recommending and implementing continuous improvement strategies and initiatives. - To fully abide by and actively support Lincoln Electric's Environmental Health & Safety policies, practices and procedures with respect to protecting the environment, the conservation of nature resources and the Health & Safety of all employees. - To fully abide by and actively support Lincoln Electric's Code of Corporate Conduct and Ethics along with any other Compliance related policies and requirements - To conduct any general duties, specific projects and responsibilities as assigned or required by the Automation Engineering Manager and/or his/her designate in a timely and professional manner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing industry with minimum 3 years of supervisory role. - Strong Mechanical & Electrical aptitude with hands on background in machine assembly, testing and troubleshooting. - Must have experience with handling and assembly of heavy and large size equipment. - Must be able to use lifting straps, rigs, fork-lifts etc. to safely position and fasten equipment such as robots, manipulators, guarding etc. (Must hold fork-lift license and working experience with fork-lift) - High level of expertise in using power and hand tools with strong hands-on skills. - Proficiency in reading, and following electrical, assembly and engineering drawings/schematics. - Ability to handle multiple job orders with constantly changing priorities, and strict delivery deadlines. - Good knowledge of workplace Health & Safety Act & Regulations. - Previous automation/robotics experience and knowledge of control/electrical are definite asset. - Must be able to travel throughout Canada, the USA and internationally as required by the Company - Ability to focus, prioritize, multi-task, and follow instructions. - Must be able to build strong rapport with customers/Staffs - Must be accurate and detailed/deadline oriented and require minimum supervision - Must be able exhibit clear and effective communication skills
