We are actively recruiting for a position in Business Development for Newfoundland & Labrador. This will be a strategic role looking to develop long-standing relationships and opportunities with both existing and potential clients, specifically school boards and related associations. In addition, you will be a resource to Store Mangers as needed, assisting them with day to day work with School boards and associations. You will be based on the East Coast no more than 300k from the Moncton Office.
Position Duties:
Territory will be PEI, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick
Generate sales opportunities within school boards and related associations
Write and respond to tenders
Manage new and existing school board relationships
Home office (with commute to the Moncton store as needed)
Skills and Requirements:
Territory management experience
Very strong communication skills
Experience selling in a multi-tiered/long sales cycle environment
Hunting experience – creating relationships from scratch
Enjoys travel and has a car and valid driver's license
Strong computer skills
Strong closing skills
Experience in selling into government/Public Sectors, and experience in the education Market considered an asset
Compensation Package:
$42K base plus commissions
